Venezuela Debates Draft Law against Oblivion, Silence

Caracas -  With the objective of seeking justice for the human rights violations committed during governments prior to President Hugo Chavez, the Venezuelan National Assembly on Tuesday will debate a draft law, "Against Oblivion and Silence."

The proposed law is an initiative by relatives and victims of repression, torture, disappearance, and assassinations registered in the country from 1958 to 1998.
